Hair Replacement
Hair replacement, also known as hair restoration or hair transplant, is a surgical or non-surgical procedure aimed at restoring hair in areas where it has been lost or has become thin. This is commonly done to address male pattern baldness, female pattern baldness, or other types of hair loss.
There are several methods of hair replacement, including:
- Hair Wigs : This includes various non-invasive methods to improve the appearance of hair loss, such as:
• Wigs: These are custom-made or off-the-shelf solutions that cover the entire head or specific areas of hair loss. - Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy: PRP therapy involves drawing a patient's blood, processing it to concentrate the platelets, and then injecting the platelet-rich plasma into the scalp. It is thought to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth.
- Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP): SMP is a tattooing technique that involves applying pigments to the scalp to create the illusion of a shaved head or fuller hair. It's often used to camouflage thinning areas.
